Platform governance

Policies and guidelines

These policies define how StreamScop handles directory information, reviews, community discussions and user data.

Editorial policy

Directory profiles and knowledge articles distinguish editorial information, provider-supplied claims and community reports. Connection category, provider type, service status and verification notes should be treated as separate fields. Unverified statements should not be presented as confirmed facts.

Review guidelines

Reviews must describe genuine experience and disclose provider, reseller, employee, affiliate or incentive relationships. All reviews enter an administrator moderation queue before publication. StreamScop may reject spam, copied content, unsupported allegations, credential-like information or abusive submissions.

Community guidelines

Forum users must not request or share credentials, accounts, tokens, private portal links, unauthorized playlists or access endpoints. Harassment, impersonation, doxxing, fraudulent offers and review manipulation are prohibited. Administrators may approve, hide, lock, move or delete topics and replies.

Acceptable use

StreamScop is an information, comparison and community platform. It must not host streams, sell access, publish credentials, distribute playlists, expose private portal URLs or provide instructions for defeating access controls.

Privacy

The platform stores account details, review submissions, moderation records and basic security logs needed to operate the service. Reviewer email addresses are not displayed publicly. Administrators should configure appropriate retention, backups and access controls for the deployed website.

Corrections

Users and service representatives may contact the site administrator to request factual corrections. A correction request does not grant control over independent reviews, editorial status or community discussion.
